Spend about four hours exploring Sarajevo’s siege sites by air-conditioned vehicle, including the War Tunnel Museum, Sniper Alley, Yellow Fortress, Olympic bobsleigh track, and Trebević viewpoints. Guides such as Ayoub, Almir, Tarik, Ago, and Emin explain the war through clear historical context and, when appropriate, personal family memories. Hotel pickup and bottled water are included.

“Our guide Ayoub provided an unforgettable and highly informative tour of Sarajevo city. Ayoub’s pace and delivery was pitch perfect, allowing us time to ask questions and digest what we had heard. Ayoub is incredibly knowledgeable and generous- speaking passionately and with such care about the horrors of the 90’s conflict, what lead to it and the after effects. We will never forget the tour and it was the best introduction to Bosnia we could have ever asked for.”

Depart from Ferhadija 19, or arrange a suitable pickup time when booking.

“We were picked up nearby where we stayed. There were no others on the tour. A nice large van picked us up. We saw several buildings and monuments from the van. The guide talked to us and explained things the whole half hour drive. He then went to the tunnel museum with us and explained things more.”

Cable Car Olympic Tour With Museum

4.Cable Car Olympic Tour With Museum

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 17 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $30Best value

Spend about four hours tracing Sarajevo’s Olympic story, from Latin Bridge and the Old Town to Trebević Mountain. You’ll ride the 2,100-meter cable car, walk the 1984 bobsleigh track, and visit the Olympic Museum. Guides such as Denis and Medina add useful local context. Cable car and museum fees cost extra.

“A good amount of walking is to be expected, much of it on hills. Basically this is a tour to up to the mountain of the bobsled track of the Sarajevo Olympics. One can do this on their own if they wanted and there are plenty of hiking trails. The museum is about a 30 minute walk from the bottom of the hill and is nothing overly special.”
